Rép. Indépendance Belge
Aristarchi reports on a meeting with Tardieu, the director of “l’Indépendance Belge”, concerning negative news published on the Ottoman Empire. Tardieu explained that the newspaper had no bad intentions and complained about the bad distribution of his paper in the Empire and Baghdad. Aristarchi warns Tevfik that an important newspaper as “l’Indépendance” should better not turn against them.
