Letters from the Imperial Legation in Brussels (1849–1914)
Synopsis
Carathéodory warns Istanbul that the director of L'Independance Belge complained about the attitude of the Ottoman government regarding the distribution of the newspaper in the empire. Carathéodory would like to see a change in behavior of the Ottoman Government in respect of the newspaper (which is favorable towards the empire) to avoid irritation.
