Carathéodory to Turkhan Pacha, continuing on a report dated 18 July 1895. He reports having had published an article to stop the false rumours and slander about the grandvizier. Several publications have added to this, mentioning that the vizier is an excellent statesman and that he enjoys the trust of the Sultan.
