Article de la Réforme une annexe
Negative reporting on the Sultan in "Daily News" and generally an animous atmosphere. Carathéodory designates the the publication as ultra-radical. He says that he will be able to solve this situation too, and have the newspaper condemned.
- Newspaper clipping (L’homme malade, 08-06-1892, La Réforme, Foreign newspapers, most of them British, claim that the Sultan suffered a nervous breakdown after the discovery of bombs close to “Routschouk”, in his neighbourhood. He locks himself up and doesn’t show himself at important meetings. A sketch of the situation in the Empire follows, emphasizing the terror and corruption by the Constitution Party.)
