Synopsis
Diran Bey informs Fuad Pacha that the founder of “L’Orient”, Georges Mano, has received an official warning after publishing a negative article on the Sultan. In case of another such article Mano has 48 hours to leave Belgian territory.

Excellence J'ai l'honneur d'informer Votre Excellence que le Baron de Vrière m'a chargé de Lui dire que Mons[ieu]r Mano a reçu un avertissement au sujet de l'article injurieux pour la Personne de La Majesté Impériale le Sultan publié dans son journal l'Orient. Il a été signifié à Mons[ieu]r Mano, que si un acte pareil se reproduisait, quarante huit heures lui seraient assignées pour avoir à quitter la Belgique. Je saisis cette occasion pour rénouveler à Votre Excellence les assurances de la plus haute considération et du plus profond respect avec lesquels j'ai l'honneur d'être De Votre Excellence le très humble et très obéissant serviteur Diran
