Publications calomnieuses de la presse. Une annexe.

Carthéodory notifies Saïd Pacha for defamatory publications in the Belgian press and suggest publishing statements to warn the audience for such false publications. Examples of such false publications: the torture of Armenian prisoners in Istanbul, the theft by the Sultan of a golden frame surrounding the portrait of Prince Ferdinand.

- Newspaper clipping (No title, 16-10-1890, Indépendance Belge, The Bulgarian prince Ferdinand offered his own portrait in a golden frame to the Sultan. He refused to accept the portrait, sent it back to Sofia but a civil servant kept the frame for himself.)
