Attitude de la Presse slave devant les nouvelles publications
The Slavic press reacts furiously to the recent disclosures of the Russian cabinet. Especially Safvet Pacha’s circular letter of 25 January, in which he calmly nullifies the indecent departure of the Russian Ambassador at the International Conference in Istanbul as notified in the last protocol of the conference, arouses anger. The same circular letter already received lots of praise, also from the Belgian Court and cabinet. Carathéodory reports that he extensively thanked the Royal family and praises Safvet Pacha for his admirable action in such difficult times as these.
