Suite - Réorganisations de l'armée belge - solutions données à la question des langues - admission obligatoire du flamand au même titre que le français
Seïfeddin Bey informs Saïd Halim Pacha about the results of the discussions in the Belgian House of Representatives, concerning language regulations. He offers demographic statistics on language use in Belgium, proving that speakers of ‘Flemish’ were a majority. Walloon MPs contradicted the numbers. The bill requiring the use of Flemish for admission to the military school was passed by the House of Representatives. (A photograph of the second last page of the report is missing.)
