Letters from the Imperial Legation in Brussels (1849–1914)
Synopsis
In a brief telegram, Etienne Carathéodory Effendi reports about the results of the Belgian legislative elections in October 1894. He mentions the division of seats, and notes a great victory for the Catholics and a relative victory for the socialists. (The date and recipient are unknown, but the telegram was probably sent on 22-10-1894 to Saïd Pacha.)
