Synopsis
Remaniement du Cabinet.
Etienne Carathéodory Effendi reports about the cabinet reshuffle in the Belgian government. He explains how and why the Catholic Beernaert government was partially changed. Thonissen resigned as Minister of the Interior and Public Education. Devolder who was Minister of Justice, replaced Thonissen. Jules Lejeune would then become the new Minister of Justice. Carathéodory briefly describes the background of Thonissen and Lejeune. He attaches importance to the choice of the latter, as Lejeune had no clear political colour.
