Synopsis
Dissolution du Sénat. - Une annexe.
Etienne Carathéodory Effendi informs Assim Pacha about the dissolution of the Belgian Senate. The senatorial elections were planned for July 8th. That same day, the ministers who were members of the House of Representatives needed to be re-elected. An extraordinary session was planned for July 22th, which would be very short, merely to verify the credentials and make sure that both Chambers were constituted in a regular manner. (The enclosed Royal order, published in the Belgian Official Journal – the Moniteur Belge – is not photographed.)
