Synopsis

Nouvelles de Cour.

Etienne Carathéodory Effendi reports that the Belgian Queen Marie-Henriette went to visit her daughter, Princess Stéphanie, at the Laxenburg Castle in Austria-Hungary, where Princess Stéphanie was about to give birth. In the meantime, King Leopold II went to his Ciergnon Castle. If Alfonso XII, King of Spain, was able to visit Brussels, Leopold II would return to Brussels to welcome him. In the fall season, Leopold II and Marie-Henriette would probably visit the Dutch King William III and Queen Emma of Waldeck and Pyrmont. Carathéodory summarizes the royals who planned to visit the Belgian King and Queen (like the Prince and Princess of Wales).
