Lois votées par le Parlement belge.
Etienne Carathéodory Effendi reports about the laws that have been voted in the Belgian parliament before its adjournment for the summer break. The liberal Frère-Orban government proposed several bills to make up the country’s deficit. Catholic MPs wanted to prove that the deficit, left by the previous (Catholic) government, was not so large as the liberals claimed it to be. The measurements proposed by the liberal government, however, were approved by a large majority. Carathéodory summarizes the different measurements.
