Mihran reports that he received many courtesy visits by Belgian notables, such as the ministers of War and Justice, representatives of the palace and the Roumanian and Germand envoys to Brussels, and even Emile De Borchgrave, former Belgian minister to Constantinople. All of them congratulated the sultan for having escaped the assassination attempt of July 21 in Istanbul.
