Carathéodory congratulated the King and the Count of Flanders with the engagement of Prince Albert.

Plusieurs souverains et chefs d’Etat félicitent directement le Roi et le Comte de Flandre pour les fiançailles du Prince Albert, fils de ce dernier, héritier de la couronne, avec la Princesse Elisabeth de Bavière. Peut-être V.E. trouve-t-elle opportun d’en informer Notre Auguste Maître. Le Roi et la Reine ont reçu aujourd’hui en audience officielle le corps diplomatique pour recevoir ses félicitations. J’ai exprimé à Leurs Majestés les félicitations de la S. Porte avec celles de la Légation Impériale.
