Synopsis
Aarifi Pacha writes that he is content to hear about the news of the Belgian king's friendly gesture toward the Ottomans during a dinner on August 28. He also notifies Carathéodory that the sultan, in his turn, sends his thanks.

Reçu télégramme du 28 Août. S.M.I. le Sultan a été très sensible aux marques d’amitié que S.M. le Roi a bien voulu témoigner à son égard. Vous aurez à faire parvenir à S.M. le Roi les remercîments de Notre Auguste Maître, ainsi que l’expression de Ses sentiments de sincère amitié.
